Man's Best Friend

Bonding with your dog!!

Building the bond with your dog isn't as "HARD AS YOU WOULD THINK".. If you[ believe] you have a relationship with your dog, then building the bond comes down to no more than increasing the strength of that relationship. As with all relationships, building a real relationship requires spending lots time together. Taking him or her out in the world and experiencing life togetheris very important. Develop a way of communicating so that both of you understand the other's needs. Let's take a look at each of these important points >> Spend plenty of quality time together. Also very important is : committing to a number of trials and behaviors that you and your dog can look forward to. A great example is to take Toby (my lab.) ,load him in the pickup and just take him ANYWHERE. The best part of this day begins when we get home. It's Tobys job to jump out of the back of the truck and run to where we started out, this is what makes his life worth living knowing he's important.
And for Toby, this is spending quality time with his best friend. It all comes down to being an active person in each other's lives. Getting out in the world and experiencing life together. .As a matter of fact, I think that my dog Toby is happiest when we're out in the world, meeting new people and doing new things together. Remember your hid best friend. You should see the look on Toby's face when people walk up and start rubbing his belly. Just like with any relationship, there must be mutual trust and respect.Trust comes with time, and showing your dog that you will keep him safe, happy and well.Respect, just like with our relationships, learn his boundries and teach him yours.Without boundries, there is no respect. And witout respect, your relationship with your dog will be not possible.Developing a way of communicating you will understand the other's wants or needs.Developing a friendship will be fun for both of you. And this relates specifically to making your praise and your corrections motivational.Once your dog understands clearly when he's doing something good and when he's doing something bad , You'll see your actually getting through to him or her.And being able to communicate with your dog is what allows you to go anywhere and do anything with your dog and know that he'll listen to you.
